“Elle” is my 5 year old daughter. We are doing preschool for the 2014-15 school year. She loves everything art (like her momma). She enjoys listening to stories and books – even the long ones. Dinosaurs have been a steady interest of hers. She excels at the art of negotiation. Loves to pretend being a dog, cat, or black jaguar. She is caring and seems to know how to express her feelings well for such a little girl. If there was an award for Best Dawdler she would win hands down. And when asked: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” She answers “a scientist for dinosaurs.” “A paleontologist?” “Yes, one of those!”
“Finn” is my 2 year old son. He gets to play and join in with big sister as he pleases for the 2014-15 school year. He loves trains, cars, dinosaurs, and play doh. He is a mover and can usually keep himself busy. He is an analytical thinker (like his daddy) and loves to solve puzzles. He likes to put things back in their places. He is sensitive, a little bit of a mommy’s boy, and very affectionate. And he named his pet fish “Owl.”
My hubby is my best friend and he keeps me grounded. Currently he is on a mission to set up an aquaponics system – basically our fish feed the plants, the plants feed us, we feed the fish. He owns an IT business that keeps him busy driving around the state fixing and setting up all things technology. He is a coffee enthusiast. His favorite cuisine is all things Indian, Thai, Malaysian… And he is generally a shy person but he has the best people skills of anyone I know.
